As a Technical Documenter, you will work in our client's proprietary system interpreting documentation and schematic drawings related to utility networks, such as fiber cables and ducting. You will be responsible for a geographical area with associated files where you will analyze information and update it in the utility system. The position involves contact points primarily internally but also externally, where you may engage in dialogue with various stakeholders to clarify questions regarding current data within your geographical area.

You will be based at the office in Gothenburg, where you will be part of a close-knit team of three people. In total, there are twelve people in the group, of which three are based in Gothenburg and the rest in Örebro. Together, you will collaboratively adapt to the established scope and determine how interpretations should be carried out.

In summary, you will: 

• Interpret technical documentation and schematic drawings related to utility networks.
• Analyze geographical and technical information and update it in the utility system.
• Collaborate both externally with customers and stakeholders and internally with the team and colleagues.
• Provide ongoing improvement suggestions and ideas.

The position is a project employment that will run until December 2026.

• Has a relevant post-secondary education in IT, geography, or a related field.
• Possesses knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS).
• Has good computer skills and technical understanding with the ability to interpret and analyze technical documents.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as these languages are communicated internally.

It is advantageous if you: 

• Have experience from a similar role such as a technical documenter, network documenter, or equivalent.
• Have previously worked in systems such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Have a good understanding of network construction within telecommunications or electrical networks.
• Have experience from network information systems such as IGS/Nice, Digpro dpPower, dpCom, Trimble NIS, Netbas, etc.

Since you will also handle technical information and data in this role, it is important that you have good analytical skills and a sense of order and structure. This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday. Since it is a project employment, the assignment will run until December 2026.
